The Government of God is Arising
Welcome to 2012…a New Year that has already begun unfolding before us!
Twelve is a significant number. It is the number of government and it
symbolizes divine accomplishment and governmental perfection.
The year 2012 is about the government of God arising. If we want to see the government of God arise in the earth, we must first allow it to arise in us, His people, in a greater way.
Because God’s work is always a continuum, the new didn’t begin with the midnight stroke of a clock on December 31st. What God has been building in our lives is ongoing and eternal. It is line upon line, truth upon truth, and experience upon experience. Therefore, we have not started something new in 2012, but we are continuing in the path He has set before us.
We must remember that our starting point is the resurrection. We rose with Christ to a new life. Now, THAT was a new beginning! We begin with who Christ is in us and for us! We are alive to Him and to all that He wants to do in establishing His government and His righteousness in us. He is helping us learn to live and abide in our new identity.
This year, as God continues His work in us, let us allow the increase of His government in these areas:
- Receiving and then expressing His goodness daily. You cannot give away what you have not first experienced for yourself. So, expect and receive His goodness every day and then show someone else that aspect of His government.
- Living in a limitless way….not measured, showing God’s abundant heart towards all.
- Being more astonished at who God is for us rather than feeling overwhelmed by circumstances.
- Processing everything through God’s majesty.
This is a year to live with excitement and expectation! Expect God’s divine work to manifest through you on a daily basis. His work in us is part of establishing His government in the earth.
Romans 12:2 urges us to, not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
Give up old mindsets and let them be replaced with a renewed mind.
I was busy in my house when I heard God say to me. It’s high time for my time. I am coming to take the government over. I have heard this in the Spirit several times since then. Today my husband and I went to Columbus, Ohio Daytime Aglow and the speaker, Lois Hosier, read a prophecy the Lord gave to her concering this year. Part of it says exactly what you are saying here. She was confirming that God is coming to take the government over. I believe He is.
our focus for Aglow this comming year should be the body of christ, and knowing who we are there need to be more teaching for the lighthouse’s on who they are in christ. we trust that you had a good holiday.
My husband and I were just discussing the word ‘new’ the other day during our devotion time. God gives us a new sunrise everymorning…makes me think of the scripture – His mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness! Other examples: We try a new recipe, buy new clothes, we write new goals for the year, we meet new friends, we get a new job, we receive a new grandbaby, we get new ideas, God gives us a new song….the list can go on….each new thing brings out a new excitement in our hearts…I believe that the Lord want to do ‘new things’ in each of us this year. Lord have your way in us today…it’s a new day!!

Truly the Spirit of Truth is aligning us to walk in our prophetic Identity. Cirscumstances are not the end of our destiny, but an entrance to let HIS message be heard, that the government of God is Arising….and we are the catalyst of this transformation …Thank you believing with us that this nation will never be the same again..

Yes, Jane, God is going to do mighty things as we continue our steadfast walk with Him in 2012. I will be sharing that with the Las Vegas gals where Caroline Goodman, Oscar Goodman’s wife, has just become the Las Vegas mayor. She will be a good- woman in a governmental position. It has also been said it is the year for women to arise and so we are! Even if they don’t join us in Aglow we are supporting them and looking for God’s hand in what they do here in the City of Grace! May you be blessed in 2012 and thanks for all you give!

After spending time in God’s Word this morning looking up scriptures of God working in us, then reading Jane’s blog and then the responses, I am so grateful to have the Resource of all that Aglow International is and has been in my life ……ever since 1977! A local pastor’s letter to give points of his message for Sunday service had the sentence of ” Let us raise ourselves to full potential” . I was led then by references and footnotes to other scriptures that tell us that is is God working in us, and not we ourselves alone. I Cor. 6:14 says God will raise us up by His power and in other verses of the same chapter, Jesus pointed out in John’s gospel chapter 5:39, the reasons they were searching the scriptures ( O.T.) but not finding Him or believing in Him.(vs.40 and 42,43 of same chapter). Even the scripture verse that says ‘ you can do all thing through Christ who strengtens us’ does not mean ” all ” things. Just those that things that are His Holy things and that Holy Spirit leads to do. I know that we of the Louisville,Ky Aglow must fast and listen and let Holy Spirit bring this Lighthouse to the place He wants it to be. We know that Aglow ladies all over the world pray for each other and that God answers .

My morning devotion today, was based on Luke 5:1-3, where the crowd as pressing against Jesus, and He had asked Simon for his boat, for a pulpit, to preach from. The bible says there were two boats, but He chose to go in Simon’s. The lesson was teaching that, there are always to ships(two choices/opportunities) in our lives. One is for us to live on our own wills/desires, or the other one to allow/let in the Lord, His will, desires and purposes, to control our lives. I wholeheartedly and passionately agree with the word that God is revealing to you, that His government/control/leadership must begin and be evident first in His children, before the world can experience it. Now more than ever must His governing role be increasing in the church, the Body of Christ, and more importantly in the individual Christian. We are in the times where the fulfillment of Rom.8:19, will be in increasing demand, and that can only happen if the King of the Kingdom is governing the lives of His subjects!!!! Praise the Lord, and be blessed!!!!!
Great word of encouragement for the new year. It seems the Lord is speaking much the same all over. May we all arise with the healing for this nation coming forth from our lips.

show who side they are on because of that, we believe that more Believers are stepping out in their God given “Undiscovered Authority.” Your message for 2012 has proven just that so we come with greater expectations in this Year 2012. His word says, “Greater Things We Will Do In His Name To Those Who Believe.”
We should not overlook what God has put in us because in due season it will all work together for our good!

The Creator is carrying the Goverment of God on His mighty shoulders. Yeshua is calling out His hidden remnant of anointed sons and daughters to emerge in strategic and designated places to bring forth His radiant glory and to shatter the power of darkness in the government. Recently Jesus is arising to expose and give direction to areas to cleanse with his blood…a friend in Scientology who is also wanting to be in our Christian Bible Study-prayer group. Seems like HOLY Spirit is saying it’s time to make a decision…choose.
Also, in so many areas there is more intimate, close, and strengthening relationships built on
JESUS RELATIONSHIP FLOW by HOLY SPIRIT.
so yes. I believe HIS rule is HIS PRESENCE removing and replacing while receiving JESUS THE PERSON EMMANUEL

A gr8 word of encouragement. Giving clear guidelines of how we can be used for the furtherance of Gods government in our land with focused clarity is indeed a blessing. As the cry of “what can I do?” is often heard but now we do.

On Dec 31st I read Isa 9:6 Unto us a child is born, to us a son is given and the government shall be on His shoulders….I believe God’s heart is to remind us that we don’t have to be caught up in the election year/politics as in the past.

This year we will live with God’s excitment and expectation, and his divine work will manifest through us all on a daily basis. This reminds me of the vision that Prophet Bill Lackie had, for 2012. “This work of the Holy Spirit will begin to usher in the Government of the Kingdom of the Lord. there will be more intervention in all areas of human life for Heavenly purposes.
I am almost finished reading a book that speaks about practicing the presence of God, watching for his leading for us to minister to that one, or two or many that he directs us to. We are to have our spiritual eyes and ears tuned to those who need to know the gospel message of our awesome creator who is ready to help in time of need. When we allow Him to lead, we are submitting to the government of God and no other way can we be truly delivered and freed to be an instrument to those around us every day. Practicing His presence, begins in his presence, in our “closet.” Prayer, worship and the Word are essential. He shows Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are true to him, who have clean hands and a pure heart.

Thank you so much for this word. It is such a confirming word. The Lord has been showing me that even though things are spiraling down here on earth, things are rising and soaring in the Spirit. I believe this is a time of great harvesting of souls and answered prayer. God’s economy is not broken. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, it hasn’t even entered into the heart of man what God has for those who love Him. We look forward to all this and more in 2012.
Dear Jane, Thank you for this blog! Government is so on my heart personally.. Just coming off our D.C. time where God closed old & opened new plus beyond so much more~ The Lord has also spoken to me.. The # 20 in forms means Redemption and I beleive the arise of His Government is on His Heart especially this year.. Yes it begins with us emptying all of us & giving it all over to Him.. I had a vision & word that says “The Finger of God is on the heart of His Bride” He has been at work in our new identity as the Bride and all she is.. We will begin to walk out as the Bride of God and ALL that means.. Exciting Times!!!

It’s amazing that God’s people live in another dimension – in God’s perspective. His presence in me changing attitude to the things around us. I want to be always aware of it and to use this power. We live in a supernatural dimension: we can rejoice (despite the circumstances) we pray and we give thanks for everything because this is Gods will for us in Christ Jesus- (1. Thess. 5 16,17,18)

This message aligns with our pastor’s sharing. God is speaking through HIs Word and His messengers to us, the church. Iam so thankful for His faithfulness, His voice, His direction through our leaders and His continual grace
Yes, we must continually be astonished at Who God Is, The Great I AM. As a prayer warrior, I have the honor of being continually astonished at Who God Is and how much love He has for each of us. The first astonishment is that the God of the Universe would take lots of time and effort to redeem me through the Cross of Christ. The second astonishment is that all is forgiven and a clean slate is given; where there is much forgiveness there is much love. The next astonishment is that God in His mercy protects unsaved loved ones through the cover of the saved one of the household– the unbelieving spouse is sanctified by the believing spouse. Astonishment is seen in the everyday things we have; I look at my calico cat and marvel at how Our Creator God put all those colors together in one small creature. I look at the people about me and marvel at how God created each one of us so individually and so specifically and then add to that He creates us in His Image. We do indeed need to marvel and be astonished by the God we serve.
Year 2012 is the year of arising, according to Johnny Enlow. To me, it sounds as though it is a year of action — putting what we had been taught and what we have been saying, into action! Thank you, Jane, yes, it all starts with the renewal of the mind; so that our action has a pure motive and is in line with God’s heart. Let us truly be that company of radical, radiant bondage breakers; and may His name be glorified.

This year (2011) has been a year of chaos and confusion in the spirit realm. NOW I AM moving you into the 12th year (2012) THE YEAR OF MY GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY! Get ready for WAR! It’s comforting and reassuring to hear the heart of our leader (you Jane) and that it is in tune with God and His mighty works. We as Aglow ladies do realize our responsibility to God and His kingdom and feel honored and blessed to be a part of His eternal kingdom while still here on earth. The government is the focus as we approach the political realm of 2012, and our hearts are praying that God’s will be done and at the same time hold our breath when we see the world going in a different direction. HE CROWNS OUR YEAR WITH GOODNESS!! (Psalm 65:11) So glad that the government of God is upon His shoulders…it brings such peace in a trying time in our world. Words of uplifting news. I have the desire to be a part of God’s earthly people and see His Kingdom come so His will can be done on earth. His will is already being done in heaven because Satan has been cast out and not allowed to enter back in. What a glorious day when satan in put in the abyss. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice.
Your thoughts on the government of God reminded me that Jesus was always preaching on the Kingdom of God, and all His believers are part of His KIngdom of Grace here on earth. The Kingdom of Power is His sovreignty over all He created, including us, His people; we earnestly and cheerfully await the revelation of His Kingdom of Glory when Jesus returns.
Normally I just pass many emails by including this one. This morning it was different, I read “The Government of God is Arising” which caught my attention. It is funny when you ask God for help that He answer you in the most unusual way. Just as I was writing my wife called with more upsetting news about our rent and the bank account, is this God or the enemy trying me? I know that I still will put my trust in God and His word. I will not worry about what is thrown at me but I will continue to take refuge in my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jane for your comforting words.
I am really excited about 2012! Your blog only serves to confirm what I have also been sensing in my spirit – this is the year we’re going to see our awesome God doing awesome things! In the same way He ushered in His plan through the 12 tribes of Israel and then the BEST part of His plan with the 12 disciples – I am expectant that this year will see Him move in amazing ways.
