Anna Hammer facilitated the Friday Evening Session. Don’t you just love Anna! Glow sticks were passed out and everyone had a blast dancing to “The Happy Song”.
“A” Company – Covenant Partner
Kathy Sanders and Laurie Lischke had fun with their Covenant Partnership and “A” Company skit. They had the crowd in giggles with their antics. Find out more about becoming a Covenant Partner by giving $30 a year or part of “A” Company with a gift of $10 or more a month .
Monet and her team blessed us with “The Freedom Song”. Many of those dancing with Monet went to Israel this year where 25 young people from 5 nations joined the Generations group. Find out more about the 2 Israel trips coming up in 2015.
Carriers of His Presence
Filled with their passion for God, 9 young women did a dramatic reading of the poem “Carriers of His Presence” by Nishan Patton. Read a copy of the poem
The house was truly filled with His glory as Klaus led us in worship and praise singing, “How Great Thou Art”, “How Great is Our God”, and “You Are Good”.
Julie Meyer prophetically exhorted the crowd to start giving the Lord 15 minutes at the beginning of the day. If we will, He will give us 15 billion in return, and it will usher in an unstoppable revival. Keep a journal, watch and see what the Lord will do.
In response Jane proclaimed, “You’re going to see the glory of God arise, in this nation at a time when it’s at its darkest, at a time when it looks the most unlikely. You’re going to see your God arise…..Live with an expectant heart.”
Are you all in?
As Anna Hammer took the offering, she exhorted the crowd, “Are you all in?” God wants every part of our life to be “All in”. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
I am Aglow
5 young women shared a statement of what Aglow has meant to them.
“At Aglow I came along a company of men and women who are committed to seeing me into my identity, in who He is, sought after and found, in My beloved. I am all in! My name is Stacy Dixon, I’m 30 years old, and I am Aglow.”
“This ministry captured my heart. It has shown me how to be a mighty, powerful woman of God. My name is Guildesia Cardona, and I am Aglow.”
“Aglow is a place of cultivation, wisdom, growth, and worship, and I am so honored to be a part of it. My name is Kariah Cussman, I am 22 years old, and I am Aglow.”
“Aglow is a place where I can laugh, where I can meet new people, where I can worship, where I can be loved, be forgiven, and have a soft place to land. My name is Amanda Schaeffer, I’m 33, and I am Aglow. “
“In a lot of ways I was rejected and abandoned, but I’ve been nurtured here. I’ve been strengthened and I’ve been mentored by so many. And I am continually challenged to walk in the boldness of my identity in Christ. My name is Nishan Patton, I am 28 years old, and I am Aglow.”
Key points of the message
Psalms 21:3 “For you meet him with the blessings of Goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon his head.” God wants to release His goodness in you and through you.
Just as William Booth started the Salvation Army, Jane Hansen Hoyt and Aglow International is going to release the Goodness Army all across the earth.
God wants to release His goodness IN us so He can release it THROUGH us.
We see God’s goodness in repentance, as Moses did. Deut. 28
If we don’t have a revelation of God’s goodness, we’ll never know the fullness of His glory.
See the goodness of God in creation, following us in life, and ahead of us in hope.
If you don’t see the goodness of God, you’ll never be able to receive the goodness of God.
Aglow has been positioned all these years to begin to release the goodness of God to the nations.
If you see the goodness of God you can begin to receive the goodness of God. And then if you receive the goodness of God you can begin to release the goodness of God.
We’re going to overcome evil by doing good. We’re going to walk into the evil places and release the goodness of God.
It’s for every member of Aglow to move in the supernatural power of God.
At the close of the session Pastor Hammer prayed for a release of God’s goodness in all of us. We receive it and we live expectantly. We will taste and see that the Lord is good!
